Show frames and same-day glasses in motion

Sizzledraft turns an optician booking page into a short video ad using real screenshots of frames, services, prices, reviews and visible availability. It builds the first video from the page alone, matching the scene to the colours and type styles found on the site.

Opening lines that work here

  • New glasses today? See the frames ready to try on.

It leads with same-day fulfilment, then gives local patients a clear reason to view the available frame selection.

  • Your next pair could be waiting on this frame wall.

It makes the optician's real frame range the focus and connects browsing with an in-store visit.

  • Eye test due? Check this week's available appointments.

It addresses a timely patient need and points viewers towards the booking page rather than a vague brand message.

How can an optician turn a booking page into a video ad?

Sizzledraft opens the optician's booking page in a headless browser and captures real page screenshots. It selects useful frames from the service list, frame or lens prices, patient reviews and any appointment times visible on the page. The first video is cut from the site alone, so the page needs to explain the offer clearly. Colours, typography and other brand tokens from the site shape the surrounding scene, keeping a same-day glasses message visually connected to the practice. The finished ad can be vertical at 1080x1920 or horizontal at 1920x1080, rendered at 30fps in H.264. Later videos can accept a prompt, such as focusing on designer frames, children's eye tests or glasses made the same day.

What should an optician show in the first three seconds?

Start with one decision a local patient already wants to make. For frame-led ads, show a strong screenshot of the available range and use a line such as, “Find your next pair on our frame wall.” For same-day glasses, lead with the turnaround and immediately show which service or collection qualifies. Do not open with the practice logo while hiding the frames until later. Prices should appear only when the booking page states them clearly, with enough screen time to read what the amount covers. A short review can support the claim after the opening, especially if it mentions frame choice, fitting or collection speed. End on the visible booking action so viewers know where to reserve an eye test or visit.

Can a video show live appointments from an embedded booking widget?

Only when the appointment information is readable in the page content available to our browser. Many opticians use third-party booking widgets loaded inside an iframe. That iframe can display correctly to a visitor while preventing our browser from reading its dates, services and time slots. We do not claim availability that we cannot capture. If the page itself includes text such as “appointments available this week,” that visible wording can support a scene. Otherwise, the safer ad shows the eye test or same-day glasses service and asks viewers to check the booking page for current times. Opticians can also add a short availability summary outside the widget, provided it stays accurate, giving the video a readable source without copying individual slots that may change.

What the browser actually gets

Our browser captures the booking page as it actually renders, including readable service lists, frame or lens prices, reviews and appointment availability shown in the main page. Booking calendars embedded through a third-party iframe may be inaccessible, so we cannot reliably read or turn their individual time slots into scenes. In that case, the video can still direct viewers to check live availability on the booking page.

The common mistake

A common mistake is filling the ad with eye tests, contact lenses, repairs, frames and same-day glasses at once. Fix it by choosing one patient decision, such as finding a frame that can be fitted with same-day lenses, then show the relevant selection, qualifying price and booking action.

  • Choosing frames, eye tests and same-day glasses from one booking page without making the video feel crowded
  • Showing current appointment availability when the booking calendar sits inside a third-party widget
  • Turning frame prices and patient reviews into readable scenes before viewers scroll past

Questions

Will the video use the frames shown on my optician website?
Yes, when frame photographs or collection pages are visible to the browser. The video uses real screenshots rather than inventing stock. A booking page with only service names may provide little frame imagery, so linking from it to a visible frame gallery can give the video stronger material.
Can it advertise glasses made on the same day?
Yes, if the page clearly states that same-day glasses are available and explains any limits, such as eligible prescriptions, lens types or collection times. The video can feature that wording alongside relevant service and frame screenshots without implying that every prescription qualifies.
Can you include appointment times from my booking calendar?
We can include times that appear in readable page content. If the calendar runs inside an inaccessible third-party iframe, we may see the widget but cannot reliably extract its slots. The ad should then direct patients to the booking page for current availability instead of displaying unverified times.
What video and audio format will I receive?
Videos are rendered at 30fps in H.264, either vertical at 1080x1920 or horizontal at 1920x1080. Audio is normalised to -14 LUFS. When a trending sound is requested, it is handed over as a link to attach natively rather than baked into the video file.
